We are a Community Interest Company or CIC which means we are a social enterprise working for the community - not for personal gain or profit.
2012 - Founded
2013 - Began delivering the information part of the Healthwatch Liverpool service
2015 - In partnership with LCVS, began delivering the newly joined up Healthwatch Liverpool service, bringing together the scrutiny and information functions of the service
2018 - Contract to deliver Healthwatch Liverpool service extended, incorporating NHS Complaints Advocacy and additional social care public engagement work
2020 - Contract to deliver Healthwatch Liverpool service extended. The company adapted to the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, seamlessly moving to a hybrid working model without a single day of downtime on our information and advice helpline.
Since our founding in 2012 we have grown from employing a single member of staff to 14 members of staff in 2023.
We're proud of what we've achieved in the past decade and we want to continue to build on our reputation as a trusted provider of information and engagement services and improve outcomes for everyone in Liverpool.
Based on data from November 2023, with 86% of our colleagues being female, Laridae’s overall mean gender pay gap was 0.05% in favour of women.
